ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP - July 9-14, a team of 60+ volunteers from Calvary Chapel and other churches will be taking 60 children who have been abused and neglected, for a week of summer camp focused on demonstrating and sharing God’s unconditional love. We are still in need of people to join the prayer team to cover the children and volunteers with prayer all week. We are also still in need of new or used twin sheet sets, towels, pillows, sleeping bags and children’s camp-type clothing for 5-12 year old sizes. If you would like to join the prayer team or if you have items you’d like to donate, or be involved, please contact Laura @ 714-767-4680 or laura@roebuckmedia.com.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are in need of a couple more volunteers on a regular basis, and then a couple “substitutes” that could serve whenever the “regular” servants cannot be there. Every third Friday of the month, we here at Calvary Chapel volunteer at the community kitchen from 9:30AM-12:15PM, helping to prepare the meal served that day and putting together sack lunches, which are given out on Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested in being part of this community service, please contact Karen Harris @ (760) 522-1315.

AM SERVANTS NEEDED – We are in need of 2-3 servants for the Sunday AM fellowship ministry. Every Sunday morning between early and late services, we gather for fellowship and a small brunch. Our “teams” serve on a rotation basis, so you would serve every 5 to 6 weeks. If you feel that this is a ministry the Lord would have you to serve in, please contact Gayla Fitzpatrick at 623-8072.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES - As a church we are seeking to strengthen some of our existing ministries and also to create some new areas of opportunity to serve in our body. Please pray with us for God to draw us into all He has for us as a church. Some of the opportunities are: Missions, Tech, Website, Social Media, Marriage, Bldg/grounds, Children's, Meals, Seder, and a few more. If the Lord lays one (or more) on your heart, please let us know. Please cllck this link to download the ministry flyer - ministry link.

MEALS MINISTRY – For those who need occasional help while sick, in the hospital, death of family member, etc., we have a meals ministry. If you feel led to serve by providing a meal when needed, please contact Gayla Fitzpatrick in the office at 623-8072.

USHERS AND GREETERS - 1 Peter 4:8-9 tells us,

And above all things have fervent love for one another…” and to “Be hospitable to one another...”

Our Ushers & Greeters Ministry is a place in our fellowship where this command is being lived out.  If you would like to get involved, please contact B.J. Harris at (760) 670-7625.

WIDOW’S NEEDS – If you are a widow, or you know a widow, in need of handyman work, please let us know.  There is a sign up sheet in the foyer to list your name and work needed.  If this is a ministry you would like to serve in and be a part of, please contact Chris Kolker at 317-3245 and let him know what skills you have and how you can help.

CHURCH COMMUNITY BUILDER - We would like to begin utilizing Church Community Builder as soon as possible. This is a program we introduced a while back, which we will use for communications with particular groups (i.e. ushers & greeters, women's Bible study, etc). This wil also be great to use as a church directory. Below are links to go directly to CCB itself, a couple of video links of Pastor Phil explaining the program, and a PDF file you can click on for some easy instructions on how you can get started.

We hope this is a helpful tool for you to use to bring people to worship and hear God’s spoken Word!

MISSIONS We as a church support 12 different missions.  We are excited about what God is doing through His people in getting His word out and supporting those who are less fortunate than us.  There are mission brochures on the wall in the hallway. PRAYING FOR THE HARVEST - There are many broken, hurting, and lost people in our city and around the world that need to be rescued by Jesus! This problem is not one that we can solve in our own strength. We don't need man-made programs; we need God do what He alone can do! In Matthew 9 Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest”. We invite you to join us in seeking to follow Jesus' instructions in this. We meet every Monday, here at Calvary Chapel, from 6:30-7:30pm to lift up the lost living in our community and around the world.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – On Mondays from 6:30-8:30 PM, we will have a new women’s Bible study, meeting here at the church. It is the Gospel of Matthew, led by Spunky Baldock. This is a wonderful time of learning God's Word and fellowship!

We are now studying the book of Acts.

Every Wednesday night, before mid-week service, we gather together for dinner and fellowship here at the church.  If you would be interested in volunteering to help provide occasional meals, there is a sign up sheet in the foyer. For more information, please talk to Gayla Fitzpatrick, 623-8072.

Need a mid-week boost?  Join us as we study the book of Nehemiah in our Wednesday night Bible study.  You are sure to receive a blessing that will help you get through the rest of your week until your Sunday feeding of God’s precious word!!
